Hi, everyone. As most of you know, my sister Shannelle was in a tragic car accident in Renton on 8/5/2023. Heartbreakingly, the other 4 occupants of the vehicle did not survive. Our hearts go out to their families on the immense loss.

We are so grateful that Shannelle is fighting through her extensive injuries! She has had multiple surgeries including brain surgery, knee surgery, foot surgery and hand surgery. She also sustained multiple broken ribs. While we are so proud of how she is pushing through all of this, we know that her road to recovery will be long. In addition to needing support and care for herself and her medical needs, she will also need help taking care of bills and her one year old son, Jaymoni, while she focuses on her health and recovery.

We appreciate the outpouring of love for Shannelle during this trying time! We will gratefully accept any support and prayers that you may be able to offer.

Side note: a huge thank you to the officers and first responders on the scene that helped save Shannelle’s life and the amazing medical staff at Harborview. We cannot express how thankful we are for all of your hard work and the support you have offered Shannelle and our family.
