In Loving Memory of Shanna Shepherd – A Call for Support

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Shanna Shepherd, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who tragically lost her battle with anaplastic astrocytoma on October 31, 2025. Shanna was only 33 years old when she passed, after courageously fighting this aggressive form of brain cancer for over six and a half years. Her journey, though filled with hardship, was also one of immense strength, resilience, and love.

Shanna leaves behind her devoted husband, CJ, and their two young children, Jovie and Nash, who will carry her memory forward in their hearts. Throughout her battle, Shanna never gave up. She continued to fight not just for herself, but for her family—her love for her children and her husband was unwavering, even as the cancer spread into her bones. The last year of her life involved frequent trips to Arizona for treatment and a great deal of financial strain from medical expenses.

As a family, we are heartbroken by her passing, but we are also so deeply grateful for the love and support Shanna received from all who knew her. In honor of her legacy, we are reaching out to the community for help with the mounting costs of her medical treatments, funeral expenses, and other financial burdens that have accumulated over the course of her battle.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to supporting CJ and the children as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of their wife and mother.
