We’re asking our community to come together and support Shanita Massey during one of the most difficult times of her life.

Shanita recently suffered a serious medical emergency and is now facing a large tumor that doctors are still working to diagnose and treat. She is currently receiving care in Louisville, where she remains while her medical team works to determine the best path forward.

Anyone who knows Shanita knows the kind of person she is. She has always been there for others — no questions asked, no hesitation. She would truly give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, and she has bent over backwards time and time again for friends, family, and even people she barely knew. Her heart for others is simply unmatched.

Now, she needs us to be there for her.
