Hi my name is Shanikia, a single mother of 3. On Christmas Eve, my kids and I lost everything in a house fire. My home was also where I held my daycare, which means not only are we in need of shelter, but I can no longer operate my business. I lost my car, so we no longer have transportation. I’m still in complete shock but I have to remain strong for my kids, we must rebuild.
