Hi, my name is Shanice Hawkins, and I’m raising funds for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad in Paris this summer through Los Angeles Valley College and the École Supérieure d’Art (ESA) in Paris. As someone who’s always dreamed of studying abroad, I’m thrilled to finally take this leap—especially now, as I transition from a recent job loss and use this time to invest in my personal growth. This will be my first time truly immersing myself in the culture for a full month—learning French, exploring museums, and studying art and culture firsthand.
