Hello I’m Shanicee from Saint Louis MO ,and myself , my mom , sisters and best friends went to Jamaica to celebrate my 35th birthday, not knowing a category 5 hurricane will strike the day we were suppose to leave and now has us stranded and not knowing when we will return home . We are currently sheltered at the RIU palace Montego Bay and we had to extend our stay for 2 days , but we don’t know how much longer we are going to have to be here until the hurricane pass and the Jamaican government and hotel give us updates . Furthermore ,if you can help us with anything as far as shelter and stay while we all are here , it is greatly appreciated. We will be home soon to our families and hurricane Melissa will not damper our spirits .
