Help Shanelle's Kids After Her Passing

What should have been one of life’s greatest joys—welcoming a new baby—turned into an unimaginable journey for Shanelle Hopkins. Just after giving birth, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. Over nine years, she bravely endured three brain surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, countless seizures, and endless hospital visits.

On June 22 around 11 a.m., after a long and courageous battle, Shanelle peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

In her final year, her husband lovingly stepped away from work to care for her full-time. While this act of devotion gave Shanelle the support she needed, it left the family facing both emotional and financial hardship.

Now, with two young children—one about to start preschool — they are doing their best to get back on their feet as her husband actively looks for new work.
