Help Shanekia & Chloe Find a Safe Place to Call Home
My name is Laqueya Huggins, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a courageous mother, Shanekia Grissett, and her 10-year-old daughter, Chloe, a beautiful little girl living with a rare neurological disorder that prevents her from walking, talking, or eating on her own.
For years, Shanekia has done everything in her power to care for her daughter despite unimaginable challenges. They’ve been living in unsafe conditions in a mobile home in Longs, SC, with walls covered in black mold, exposed electrical wires, and a front door barely holding on. A promised wheelchair ramp was never installed. Her pleas for repairs were ignored, and now, they are facing eviction.
No mother should have to choose between her child’s safety and having a roof over their head.
This GoFundMe is to help Shanekia and Chloe relocate to a clean, safe, and stable home where Chloe can thrive and where Shanekia can finally breathe a little easier. Funds raised will go directly toward moving expenses, a security deposit, and basic essentials for setting up a new home.
Even if you can’t give, please share this story. Every prayer, every dollar, and every share brings us one step closer to providing Shanekia and Chloe with the peace, dignity, and protection they deserve.
Let’s be the village this family needs right now. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
you can read the article yourself. She didn’t ask for help. I decided to help and ask you for help as well. https://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/local/article311491593.html
