Hi my name is Anika from Toronto and I'm fundraising to help my sister rebuild after she lost everything in hurricane Melissa.

Shaneil is a single mother of 2 and her life was nearly lost and turned upside down by hurricane Melissa. Her home was completely flooded and she lost everything, clothing, furniture, keepsakes and essential documents. She still cannot access the property due to safety concerns.

This whole situation is more heartbreaking because she has no insurance to cover the loss or any financial cushion to fall back on. She is facing this crisis alone and the cost of basic necessities and rebuilding is overwhelming.

Shaneil is a strong, compassionate mother who always goes out of her way to help others. Now she needs us. Money raised from this campaign will be sent to her in Jamaica to help her find temporary housing, replace essentials such as clothing and food for her and her young children, toiletries, household goods, cover emergency expenses and emotional support.

Every donation no matter the amount makes a difference. If you can't donate please share this campaign with other. Together we can help her rebuild not just her home but her hope.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
