Hi everyone, I’m Melissa, and I’m setting this up for my brother, Shane.

​As many of you know, Shane had a bit of a 'high-stakes' weekend that resulted in him losing his wedding finger. In true Shane fashion, he’s already making jokes—insisting that the situation simply 'got out of hand'—but the reality behind the punchlines is a bit tougher.

​Shane is self-employed and was right in the middle of an exciting rebrand to get his business firing on all cylinders. This accident hasn't just been incredibly painful; it’s put a total "pause" button on his livelihood. Between the emergency surgeries, the constant travel for specialist hospital appointments, and the fact that he can’t currently work, the bills are starting to pile up.

​He’s currently using money meant for utility bills just to cover the petrol and hospital costs. If you know Shane, you know he’s the first person to offer help and the last person to ask for it. He’s actually pretty embarrassed that I’m even posting this, but as his sister, I’m not letting him struggle alone.

​We are looking to raise some funds to help with:

​Travel Costs:

Fuel and parking for the mountain of follow-up appointments.

​Monthly Bills:

Keeping things steady while he’s physically unable to work.

​Recovery Support:

Letting him focus on healing so he can get back to that rebrand as soon as possible.
