Help Shane fight this illness

Hi there. My name is Serena from Kells Co Meath and I am starting this fundraising to help my cousin Shane McGeough fight a brain tumour. Shane and Michelle are a young couple from Kells Co Meath. who left Ireland to travel Australia for a year. 11 years have passed and they have built a life for themselves in Adelaide and now have a beautiful 2 year old daughter Harlow. All was going well until just recently when Shane began to feel ill and after many a test it was discovered that he has a tumour on his brain. Both the McGeough and Farrell families are completely devastated with the news and so we aim to do everything we can to help Shane Michelle and Harlow get through this.

Shane is beginning his treatment this week of extensive Radium and Chemotherapy for a period of 6 weeks to shrink the tumour.Unfortunately due to Covid etc the cost of this on top of sending both mothers Cathy & Mary over to Australia to help out during the radium treatment is huge and so the amazing people around us have asked that we set up a fundraiser so they can help out.

The funds will assist Shane, Michelle, Harlow, McGeough and Farrell families with all unforseen expenses during this difficult time. The funds will be submitted directly to the families. 

Shane and Michelle have a massive group of friends both in Ireland and Australia and we are hoping that this fundraiser will reach far and wide to generate much needed funds to try and ease the burden on the families.
