My name is Bob Chatelle. Most of you know me as the founder of the now closed National Center for Reason and Justicne. Since the closing of the NCRJ, I have continued to help innocent prisoners as best I can.

For many years, I have been in contact with a prisoner named Shane Crum, who is now my good friend. I can't even recall how we first got together. I believe a family member hunted me down and shared enough documents with me to convince me of Shane's innocence.

As a result of this web site, I was contacted by Shane's daughter, who believes her father did nothing wrong and wished to help. I contacted my friend Marty Yant, a first rate private investigator. We persuaded the Ohio Innocence Project to reconsider Shane's case. They did and now are working to free Shane.

Anyone wo has corresponded with a prisoner knows that prisoners are supplied with almost nothing. They must purchase everything, including decent toilet paper, from the prison commissary.

Until recently, a family member was supplying Sean with money for commissary and telephone. This family member can no longer continue to do this.

In all the years I have known him, Sean has never asked for financial help. He is not doing so now, as he knows I am barely getting by. But he thought I might have some ideas.
