Help Shandi and Her Cats Find a New Home

Hi, Shandi here. I am being priced out of my home of 11 years. The landlord emailed me that they are raising the rent by 245%, beginning May 1st. That means that me and my three senior cats need to find a new home in the next two months. I don't have a driver's license and will have to pay for movers too. I was expecting a rent increase, but this threw me for a loop. Work has been incredibly slow, and we didn't get our bonus last year either. My savings has already been wiped out because of that and of illness the past couple of months.

This wasn't a part of my plans for this year. I am trying to remain positive and hopefully with your help, can find us a new place to call home.

I have set a GOAL of $5,500 that would be equivalent to finding an $1800 studio or fingers crossed a 1br apartment, or three months' rent. Will be looking for something as cheap as possible of course! I can swing paying for movers, because I will essentially be getting rid of 80% my belongings prior to the move to keep the cost low.

Please help me, Parker, Fiona, and Big Man get into a new home.
