Our dearest Shanay recently had to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor. The procedure was unexpected and has left her facing a long road to recovery. Doctors anticipate she will be out of work for several months while she heals.

As the sole provider for her home, this sudden pause in work has created a tremendous financial burden. On top of the stress of recovery, she is now worried about keeping up with everyday expenses like rent, utilities, groceries, and medical costs.
