Help Sha’Nae Achieve Her Teaching Dream
Donation protected
My name is Sha’Nae Curtis, and I’m 33 years old. Since I was 14, when I took my very first volunteer job with Parks and Planning, I’ve had a passion for working with children. From preschool classrooms to Before & After care programs, dance classes and even teaching Sunday school, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting, teaching, and encouraging children.
After high school, I was able to attend college for a year and a half. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford to continue, and without the help or resources I needed, I had to step away. I went straight into the workforce, but I never let go of my passion for education. Working with children has always been at the center of my life, and I know deep in my heart that being in the classroom is my calling.
In January, I made the decision to try again, I applied to Coppin State University, and I was accepted! This is a second chance at a dream I’ve carried for years. Classes begin soon, but I am still short on tuition. I’m reaching out for support because I believe in myself more than ever. With your help, I can finally earn my degree and step fully into my purpose as a teacher.
Any support whether financial, sharing this story, or offering encouragement, means more than words can express. Thank you for helping me on this journey and for believing in my dream to educate and inspire children.
