Hi, I’m Kari, Shana’s sister. My sister’s best friend and long time roommate, Dawn Perry, passed away unexpectedly due to a severe asthma attack. Dawn was a single mother and leaves behind 4 children, whom she and my sister have been raising together for the last 7+ years. My sister also has 3 of her own children. Combined, they have 7 children! Shana wants nothing more than to keep all of the kids together in the home that they’ve shared for the last several years.

As you can imagine, 7 kids are very expensive!! And their household just dropped to one income overnight. I’m hoping to raise enough money to help cover Shana’s rent for the next 6 months as she navigates trying to be a mom to 7 kids, figuring out her finances with a single income, and processing this unbelievable loss.

We are beyond devastated with this tragic, sudden loss! Dawn was the most caring, loving, and understanding friend and mother! She will be missed beyond measure!
