Hi everyone,

This is very hard for me to write, but I’m reaching out because I need help.

Over the last year, I was injured while working as a hospice nurse and have been on medical leave while trying to heal. During this time, I’ve had no income and have been doing my best to manage day to day while navigating recovery.

Recently, both of my cats, Delaney and Dauphine (Pheenie) have become sick, and the timing has been overwhelming. Delaney was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which has required ongoing veterinary care, medications, and close monitoring. As I’ve been trying to manage that, Pheenie has begun experiencing repeated vomiting and GI issues and now needs diagnostic testing and treatment as well.

These cats are my family and my emotional anchors, especially during a year that has already been incredibly difficult physically and financially. I’m doing everything I can to get them the care they need, but the veterinary bills are adding up quickly, and without income, I’m struggling to keep up.

I’m asking for help to cover:

• Veterinary visits and diagnostics

• Blood work and imaging

• Medications and supportive care
