My name is Sahar, and I’m based in London. I’m raising urgent funds on behalf of my dear friend and cousin Shams, a courageous mother surviving the unimaginable in Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, I’ve been in close contact with her, offering what I can, when I can. But the need is now greater than ever.

Shams is heavily pregnant and due to give birth any day now, under the constant threat of airstrikes, starvation, and displacement. She has three young children who haven’t had a proper meal in days. They are trapped in a place where survival is a daily miracle.

Her previous fundraiser was tragically sabotaged and the donations were stolen. This page is a new lifeline, built from scratch with hope, trust, and your compassion. Every donation here will go directly to Shams to help her buy food, clean water, baby essentials, and secure medical care for a safe delivery.

Since October, Gaza has been subjected to relentless, indiscriminate attacks. Entire families have been wiped out. Homes, hospitals, and schools reduced to rubble. These are not just statistics, they are real people like Shams and her children.

They are not just "caught in the crossfire", they are being targeted. Civilians. Mothers. Babies.
