Help Shamrock Boxing Club recover from fire

Hi my name is Candace, I am the president of Shamrock boxing club in Peace River. We are a nonprofit boxing club with volunteer coaches who’s focus is to train youth and compete in the sport of amateur boxing. Our club has been around for over 35 years in peace river. We offer a safe place to train and to learn the sport while also being a family to our athletes. We also have ladies fit box classes and junior boxing classes.

Today we suffered a devastating loss. The building next-door to us burnt to the ground. And the result of this our club receiving major water damage and smoke damage. Initial reports are definitely showing that all of our matted flooring and any equipment on the floor is ruined. It is also very likely we will have to throw away all of our boxing gloves and bags due to toxic smoke damage. We did not have insurance on our equipment. We sincerely hope all of our former members and the community will surround us and help us recover from this devastating loss. The initial amount is a very rough and low estimate on just replacing our matted flooring. It will likely be in the tens of thousands of dollars in equipment that will be a complete loss.
