A few weeks ago our local Shaman Mic McManus ended up in the hospital with the flu and pneumonia - knocking him down pretty hard. He came home with meds from the doctors and we thought he was recovering - until he had a near fatal reaction. Thank God he was able to get help from some of his amazing friends and taken back to the hospital - they saved his life Saturday March 15th.

The days that followed had all of us in his family and friends terrified. Knowing fear does us no good - we got to praying. Yesterday our prayers came true and Mic is home recovering. This will be a slow recovery and anyone that knows Mic knows he would never ask for help- so we are doing it for him.

Mic is an incredible shaman that has done so much good for our community here in Sarasota County. In this life he is still in a human body and that body needs rest which means he will be unable to work. The work that Mic does for our community is invaluable and irreplaceable - and we know so many of you agree. The outpour of love from anyone who knows him has been so heartwarming. Anything you can give financially is so appreciated. For those of you who would love to help but don't have the means financially - just sharing this is equally as helpful.
