Help Shamain save her remaining leg

Hello, my name is Annah. I am raising money to help my friend Shamain , who lives in Zimbabwe. Shamain was involved in a serious road traffic accident on 4 May 2024 in Karoi, Zimbabwe. She was travelling back from Zambia where had gone to order clothes.

Shamain was travelling on public transport, the driver of the vehicle lost control of the vehicle due to a failure in the braking system and collided head-on with a heavy good vehicle which left her with life threatening injuries. Due to the force of the collision, she was ejected from the vehicle onto the tarmac and the heavy good vehicle run over her legs.

Due to lack of an ambulance, Shamain was taken to the nearest hospital in the back of a pickup truck whilst in excruciating pain. The doctors amputated her right leg to save her life and now she is awaiting surgery to fix her remaining leg. She has been in hospital since the accident and is facing a rising medical and food bill. Her family are supporting her but have run out of funds and cannot afford to pay for the surgery. The total cost her surgery is $5000. She needs a further $5000 for medicines and rehabilitation cost.

Zimbabwe does not have a public healthcare system, therefore all raised funds will be used to pay for the surgery to fix Shamain’s remaining leg. This includes, orthopaedic equipment, anaesthetics, hiring an operation theatre, recovery ward and physiotherapy.

Please help my friend Shamain if you can. She is a hard working mother of 3 young children and would like to see them grow. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
