Help Shaktivel Pillai Achieve His PhD Dream

Hi Everyone - I am trying to raise funds to support the education of my friend Shaktivel Pillai.

Shak was in a PhD program in Prague when Covid struck his family hard. In May of 2021, his mother passed away. His uncle, who cared for them, also passed away from Covid. Shaktivel had to leave school before completing the program and return to India to bury his family and find housing for himself and his brother, who was evicted because he couldn't afford rent and funerals. Even their golden retriever passed away from grief one year later to the day on the same couch his mother had passed on.

Shak has been accepted to a PhD program in Wales and qualified in the top 1%! He is very close to being able to afford the move, visas, and insurance! Please help me to help this fine young man who has faced incredible tragedy to complete his education and support his family!
