Help Joory&Yosef escape war in Gaza to Egypt

السلام عليكم ،

اسمي شاكر شاهين، اب لطفلين جوري 5 سنوات ويوسف 3 سنوات، زوج ومهندس روبوتات. أعمل منذ سنة كمهندس روبوتات في دولة الإمارات.

قبل الحرب بثلاث أيام عدت لغزة، حتى ارتب انتقال عائلتي الصغيرة الى الإمارات ولكن قدر الله وما شاء فعل. خلال هذه المدة فقدت مدخراتي ومنزلي ومنزل والدي.

الآن أحاول الخروج من غزة ، حتى استطيع ان اكمل عملي وأعين اسرتي الكبيرة.

رسوم الخروج من غزة تصل من 5000$ الى 10000$ للشخص البالغ، للأسف بعد كل هذه المدة لا نستطيع تغطية هذه المبالغ.

Dear friends, family and compassionate strangers,

My name is Shaker from the Gaza Strip. I am a father of two ( Juri -5 years old- and Youssef -3 years old), husband and a mechatronics engineer.

I have an Emirati work permit and went to Gaza four days before the war to meet my family in order to prepare for moving the family to UAE.

We are sharing our story with you during this time of urgent need. My family and I are currently caught in the middle of the ongoing war in Gaza, and our situation is becoming increasingly dire! With every passing hour, the violence escalates as most of you see or read on the news! The danger to our lives is increasing hour by hour!

In October 2023, we had to leave our home and our entire life in the northern Gaza area - Al Karama area, and after that we temporarily settled in different homes and shelters due to the escalation and war conditions!

In November 2023, the Israeli army completely destroyed our house as shown in the pictures below!

We are desperate to escape this war zone and seek safety elsewhere, but the cost of evacuation is beyond our means. The only possible option for us is to cross the border into Egypt - the city of Cairo, a trip that requires significant financial resources that we simply do not have!!

We humbly ask for your support to help us raise $15,000, which will cover most of the expenses needed for our safe passage from Gaza through the Rafah crossing. Below are details of how the funds will be used:

USD 5,000 for two adults (toll fees) > USD 10,000

$2,500 for two children (toll fees) > $5,000

$400 for (gofundme fee)

Every dollar contributed will bring us one step closer to ensuring the safety and well-being of my loved ones' journey!
