Hello everyone,

I would like to share the story of Shaimaa, an extraordinary young woman from the north of Gaza. Shaimaa completed her Master’s degree in International Relations and worked tirelessly to save money to pursue her PhD abroad. Through her dedication and hard work, she managed to save approximately $30,000 to achieve her academic dream.

Unfortunately, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza has destroyed all her efforts. Her home was completely destroyed, and she lost her job, her studies, and all her tools. She has been left with nothing. She was also forced to leave her home due to the bombings, and she lost her savings while facing severe living conditions and financial hardship that left her in debt.

Shaimaa is now suffering from severe depression, feeling as though she has lost everything — her home, her work, her studies, and everything she worked so hard to build.

I wish to continue my studies abroad and pursue my academic path, but I face major difficulties in covering the required expenses for travel and starting my studies. The cost of coordination and travel is approximately $12,000, in addition to university registration fees, rent, and books, which are estimated at around $5,000.

Through this campaign, we hope to help me cover my basic needs, continue my academic journey, support my family, and rebuild a future that was interrupted by war.

Together, you can help me reclaim my life and revive my dream of pursuing higher education and a PhD.
