Help Shaima Evacuate Gaza

Hi all

My name is Fatima Jama. I am currently managing three fundraising pages for a large family from Khan Younis that consists of three households. I met one member of this family, Batoul Saqer, while volunteering as an English teacher for the British Council accredited charity Hands Up Project. This page has been set up to support Batool's sister, Shaima, with her ongoing efforts to bring her family to safety. Please read her story below and share widely.

Hello

I am Shaima from the Gaza Strip. I am married and have two children. For nearly nine months, I have been living in a fierce war in which we are not responsible. During this war, I lost my brother last December, and our house, which was everything to me and my family, was destroyed. My husband was also injured in the head last October and lost his source of livelihood. The only one after a bombing on the area in which we live, which led to the complete destruction of his store, and I almost lost my husband in that air strike. After all those difficult months and painful days, I do not want to lose anything else. Rather, I want to get out of here, me, my husband, my son, and my daughter, in search of the safety we lost in Gaza. Therefore, I ask for your support and your standing by our side to achieve this humanitarian goal that will make a big difference in our lives.
