Hi , my name is Shaima Muhammad Saber Abu Ouda
I am from Beit Hanoun in Gaza, I have three sons and one daughter. Jabr is my eldest son then there is my daughter Laila and the twins Nizar and Rayan, aged 15. I am married with Muhammad Abu Odeh, who is 47 years old and we ask for your support to survive these terrible times until enduring Peace is achieved .
It is very difficult for me to summarize the pain for what is lost forever , at the same time I still have hope that you will understand and support me .I have been working hard all my life , my husband's health had been compromised by severe illnesses for several years now , so I had to work long hours to provide for my children but we had a simple life going through good and bad days as a very united family .In August 2023 I graduated at the university majoring in Software Engineering , I studied while working and being a mother , all those sacrifices to fulfil the aspiration of a better job and of an increased income to support my family , my eldest son Jabr was also studying the same faculty and things started looking brighter ...

But then came October 7th , I will never forget that night , I lost 2 of my children and our home was destroyed by the occupation . All the people of Beit Hanoun were told to evacuate immediately . Jabr , may God have mercy of him , I had sent him to buy bread and he never came back ,his body was found and we later buried him , he was only 20 years old , he was my support, my beloved , my friend. .
Jabr
Ryan , 15 years , disappeared from under my eyes in the chaos of that terrible night and to this day I have no news about his fate. He has been missing for 8 months. Every moment and every hour I ask myself: was he killed by the occupation army, captured, martyred, or injured in one of the houses, and no one found him? Or was he buried under the dirt? We did not find him. How can a mother cope with this ??
Ryan
But my husband and I have Nazir and Leila , we are still a family and we honour that and despite the unbearable pain we share there is also so much hope . One day this nightmare will end and we will rebuild our home and live in Peace .
When we tried to evacuate to the South my husband was almost killed during a bombardment , his foot was heavily injured and this led to the leg amputation as a result of his diabetes and the lack of medicine and insulin. .We had no choice but staying in the North. Having worked all my life I got involved in many projects to help my people here in the North from where many families could not evacuate .Helping my community gives me hope and great comfort.

I ask you to donate what you can , no amount is small , the money will be used to buy quality food , medicine and hygiene products. Your support can really make the difference , stay with us till enduring Peace .Insha'Allah.
