We are a family from Gaza. We were displaced from under the bombing, death, and destruction. We had a dream of a lifetime, and it was our simple, humble house. Our house was gone in the blink of an eye. This is the house I waited for after 10 years of moving from house to house. I was living with expensive rent, and for a year I lived in this house for the rest of my life. It was my dream. The only dream of my children is this warm house. The memories are gone. I have 4 children, the eldest of whom is Maria, who was born in the 2014 war. She has come to this world and it has been wars all her life until this moment. She wakes up and shouts at night.
I have a son, Kareem, whose dream was to become a doctor. This dream was shattered, and the youngest of them underwent surgery in the war due to malnutrition. Our whole lives are canned goods and fire starters. Our chest made us hungry. Help me and my children live our dream as we want. Help us to have a home of a lifetime again. Help us and my children from the bitter cold of winter. My children love you so much.

April 10, 2025:
Hello friends, you have been our hope and our lifeline. You have always been at the forefront, and you have been a reason for alleviating our suffering.
But I must explain to you how dire the current situation is. You may say the war is over, but our suffering has not. Aid has not been distributed fairly and equitably, and we have not received any assistance from any other party. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, I need you at this stage more than ever. You know how difficult it is to move now, how difficult it is to prepare a new shelter, and how difficult it is to provide everything necessary to live in a good shelter after our homes have been destroyed. Food may be readily available, but unfortunately, prices are not what you expect, and not everything available is affordable. We are still experiencing cold and difficult winter conditions while living in a tent. I hope you will stand with us so that we can rise again.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to safety and rebuilding a new life.
Or even sharing it with your network to help us means a lot to us.
This fundraiser is being managed by a family friend, Rebecca, who lives in Canada. If you have questions, reach out anytime.
