Help Shahzil Hear Again

A very good friend of ours 4 year old son, Shahzil, was born completely deaf. It is very rare to be born like this especially with no family history of such condition. Needless to say, the condition has been very hard for him and the family to deal with. 

Upon many visits to the hospital, it was discovered that hearing aids would not help and that he would require something called 'Cochlear implant surgery', which can give sound to profoundly deaf children who have been unable to hear even when using the most powerful hearing aids.

The surgery itself is very expensive but exacerbated due to the family living in Pakistan, where wages are very low. 

This is an appeal to anyone out there to help Shahzil hear again and change his life forever. There is no way for the family to raise the money needed for the surgery in Pakistan, but with your help it might be possible.
