We would like to ask you one more time to donate to her care as she is still continuing her battle. We ask for even the littlest amount as it makes the biggest difference in her life. Please consider spreading the word about her rare condition and we thank you for your help.
May Allah bless paradise to those who gave back to the less fortunate.
Thank you to all who donated, here is an update on Shahina's status: With your mercy, she was able to get better through extensive treatment. She is very strong and is continuing her best to fight cancer, may Allah continue to give her the needed strength.
Shahina Begum was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, osteosarcoma of the rib. She is a 55-year-old mother of six children and lives in India, Bangalore where poverty is high. She has no income besides what little her only adult son has. But even then, it’s barely enough for their welfare and needs of survival. In fact, he is responsible for his parents, five siblings, wife, and three kids.
With that being said, Shahina’s treatment for her cancer is extremely expensive due to its rarity. At first, the doctors she went to were unable to correctly diagnose her, some said it was nothing to worry about, and some said it was lung cancer. A few months ago she was able to find a good doctor that clearly diagnosed her.
She is in her third stage of cancer where she should critically take action. Her medication is extremely expensive and requires donations to be purchased. This calls for desperate measures, so please, in any way, donate to help her cause ASAP. She has been in debt because of her treatment and it is increasing by the day. Whatever you donate will not be going to repay her debt but directly to the treatment, however, it will help her immensely.
Shahina has always been kind to others and her life is as precious as anyone else’s, so it would be devastating to see her no longer in our presence. Again, this has been the only option for her to undergo further treatment, I urge you to please donate for her expensive treatment. Thank you in advance to whoever chooses to donate. May Allah bless paradise to those who gave back to the less fortunate.
