It is with a very heavy heart, I write this about Shahin, a struggling refugee mother in need of immediate medical treatment.
Shahin Tahimtan, is a devoted wife and loving mother of three small children, she immigrated to the country of Turkey to escape from war and violence. However while struggling to make ends meet for her family in a new country, she now faces life threatening medical issues. She was rushed to the ER and was diagnosed on August 1st, 2019 with a very aggressive kidney failure, known as end-stage renal disease (ESRD) This form of kidney failure is extremely fast growing, and can cause coma and sudden death. Shahin and her husband do not have the finances to get the necessary procedures done to save her life and continue on their journey.
Those who know this family would vouch for them as being the most loyal of friends and a very hard working family. Shahins husband is currently unable to work do to the language barriers in a new country and the struggles of caring for three young children and their sick mother. Shahin needs the support, prayers, and funds to help her and her family survive through these rough days ahead.
We are requesting funds as soon as possible to help with all aspects of her treatment, to help support her three young children, and to help this family continue their long journey to safety. Since her diagnosis she has lost about 60 percent of her body function leaving her completely bedridden. This sudden diagnosis has been devastating to Shahin and her family.
Shahin needs around the clock supervision for herself and her children. She needs treatment as soon as possible to be able to survive. Any small donation would go a long way to save her and keep her going for her kids. Please give any amount that you can and please keep this family in your prayers.
