I am Mohamed Shaheen. I am 30 years old. I have three sisters, my mother and my father

We are a small family, but we grow with our love and our strong bonds

Our story is not like all the stories that begin in Gaza. We had many turning points in our lives, as it began after a call came from the hospital informing us that my father had been injured while working and had fallen from a high area.

On the same day, he went to his final resting place with eerie calm, and we bid him farewell silently without any words of farewell

To this day, his supportive, friendly spirit continues to surround us at all times, transcending the limits of dimensions, to reassure my heart and the heart of my sisters and my dear mother.

My mother suffers from fibromyalgia, which is considered a chronic disease and there is no clear treatment for it, so she needed constant follow-up with a specialist doctor outside Gaza.

We were traveling from Gaza with difficulty and waiting for long months to be able to leave for the purpose of treatment, and despite the high travel costs, this is what treatment requires and there is no other solution. May God heal her and ease her suffering.

We were living in Gaza when unemployment rates were at its peak, and although I had a university degree in psychology, I was unable to get a job, so I decided to start my own business and start from scratch on my own. I faced the most difficult circumstances, defying all obstacles.

After the death of my father, as the only son of my family, the responsibility fell on me

I had many dreams and I intended to obtain a master’s degree, but I preferred to work on developing my project because through it I could support my family, especially after the death of my father. Also, despite the fears and despite the fact that many wars had passed us by, the last war was overwhelming. It crushed all my dreams.

In this latest war, the store was destroyed and the warehouse was bombed. The goods were destroyed and the products that had been shipped recently were also burned

On the same day, the family home that brought us together was destroyed, and nothing was left for us. Even our memories of my father and his fatigue were buried under the house. I do not wish to see my father’s regret over his house, which took years of effort, effort and work to build.

We now live without hope of returning, unemployed and lost, depleting our savings during the long months of war due to the costs of treatment and the high costs of living. We are the survivors stuck in our places between costs, obligations and daily expenses that do not stop or have mercy, as there is no financial income, so we are returning to start from scratch.

All I hope for is that this war will end so that I and my family can live safely, away from the scourge of this war, which took away many days of our lives.

انا محمد شاهين ابلغ من العمر 30 عام ، لدي ثلاثه اخوات ، وامي وابي

نحن عائله صغيره لكننا نكبر بحبنا وبروابطنا القويه

حكايتنا ليست ككل الحكايات التي تبدأ في غزه، كان لنا الكثير من المنعطفات في حياتنا حيث بدأت بعد مكالمه وردت من المستشفى تخبرنا باصابه والدي اثناء عمله وسقوطه من منطقه مرتفعه ..

في نفس اليوم ذهب لمثواه الاخير بهدوء مخيف ، ودعناه بصمت بدون اي كلمه وداع

وليومنا هذا بقيت روحه الداعمه الصديقه تحيط بنا في كل وقت متجاوزه حدود الابعاد لتطمئن قلبي وقلب اخواتي وامي الغاليه

امي تعاني من fibromylagia وهو يعتبر مرض مزمن ولا يوجد له علاج واضح لذلك كانت بحاجه لمتابعه مستمره مع طبيب مختص خارج غزه

كنا نسافر من غزه بصعوبه وانتظار اشهر طويله لنتمكن من الخروج بهدف العلاج ورغم تكاليف السفر الباهظه لكن هذا ما يتطلبه العلاج ولا حل اخر ..شفاها الله وخفف عنها..

كنا نقيم في غزه حيت تبلغ معدلات البطاله ذروتها وبالرغم من حصولي على شهاده جامعيه بعلم النفس الا انني لم اتمكن من الحصول على وظيفه لذلك قررت عمل مشروعي التجاري الخاص وابدا من الصفر لوحدي ، واجهت اصعب الظروف متحديا كل العقبات ..

وبعد وفاة والدي وباعتباري الابن الوحيد لعائلتي وقعت المسؤوليه على عاتقي

كان لدي احلام كثيره و انوي الحصول على درجه الماجستير لكني فضلت العمل على تطوير مشروعي لاني من خلاله اعيل عائلتي خاصه بعد وفاه والدي ، ايضا رغم المخاوف ورغم مرور الكثير من الحروب علينا الا ان الحرب الاخيره كانت الساحقه، سحقت كل احلامي

في هذه الحرب الاخيره تحطم المحل والمخزن تم قصفه تحطمت البضائع واحترقت المنتجات التي تم شحنها مؤخرا ايضا

في نفس اليوم تحطم منزل العائله الذي كان يجمعنا ،ولم يبقى لنا شيء حتى ذكرياتنا مع والدي وتعبه تم دفنه اسفل المنزل ، لا اتمنى ان ارى حسره ابي على منزله الذي استغرق بناءه سنين من التعب والجد والعمل،

نعيش الان بدون امل في العوده ، عاطلين عن العمل تائهين مستنزفين مدخراتنا خلال اشهر الحرب الطويله بسبب تكاليف العلاج وتكاليف المعيشه الباهظة فنحن الناجون العالقين في اماكننا بين تكاليف والتزامات ومصاريف يومية لا تتوقف ولا ترحم حيث لا يوجد اي مدخول مادي لذلك نحن نعود لنبدأ من الصفر .

كل ما اتمناه ان تنتهي هذه الحرب لنعيش بامان انا وعائلتي بعيدا عن ويلات هذه الحرب الذي اخذت من ايام عمرنا الكثير،

تبرعك سيعطي لعائلتنا الدافع للعمل الجاد من اجل بداية جديده من بعد ان استنفزت الغربه رصيدنا ومدخراتنا ، ستعيد بتبرعك لم شمل العائله واعاده بناء بيت ابي الغالي رحمه الله
