Help Shafiq Gyagenda Continue Transforming Ugandan Orphanage

My name is Shafiq Gyagenda, and I am from Houston, TX.

In March of 2024, I was able to travel to my native country of Uganda. While there, I met an orphanage through my aunt that was in dire need of assistance. I began collecting funds and helping the orphanage make a variety of improvements. Over the course of 10 months and by the grace of God, I was able to fundraise over $50,000 for the orphanage. We were able to renovate classrooms, provide new desks and chairs, build a new ablution station, and even supply medication for the orphans. We were also able to staff the orphanage with 10 brand new teachers.

I have created this GoFundMe to continue my charitable work while still residing in the United States. I have an open line of communication with the principal of the orphanage, and he sends me updates weekly.
