Help Shaelyn be enrolled back into school
Hello, my name is Shaelyn Ramirez, for many of you that know me and to those that do not know me I am 23 years old and have been attending UW-Lacrosse to pursue an education/bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Unfortunately, on December 4th of 2020, my life was flipped upside down and I had to make many changes due to a severe car accident. I lost my vehicle that was completely totaled, sustained severe injuries like breaking my dominant arm, and completely had to change my life around in a matter of seconds. Before the accident I was working two jobs that I have been with the last three years while in La Crosse while attending school and living on my own with roommates. With the accident, I completely had to move back home which resulted in me still having to pay for my living in La Crosse while being home in Racine, WI. I had to withdraw from school because my injuries took place a few weeks before my final exams. I also lost my job due to not being able to lift or use my arm that got fractured in the car accident. All the daily activities I was used too like going to school, working, and being a college student completely got ripped from me. It has been a long six months of recovery and medical bills which has left me in a financial crisis. It has left me with not being able to pay my bursar bill for school which is $5000 after my withdrawal. School has been my absolute top priority in my life and being able to further my education is my number one goal. Unfortunately, I have an outstanding balance for school in which I am unable to pay because of my current circumstances and I am reaching out to my family, friends and anyone willing to help me by donating to my GoFundMe! I have been absolutely putting my all into graduating college and I currently have one more year of schooling left where I hope to graduate with a bachelors in Sociology, and then continue my studies to becoming a Chiropractor.
