Choir invited to sing at St.Peters Basilica Italy

We have updated this GoFundMe at the request of the beneficiary, Shae. She would like to use the money in excess of her trip fund, to help the other Choir students that  were invited to Italy also. She doesn’t want any fellow student left behind. Here is the original campaign:

Hi. My name is Geoffrey and I'm a single father of four children. I've had physical custody of Shae, since she was 19 months and sole custody since 4 yrs old..Shae is 14 years old now and she's been invited on a high school chorus trip to Italy. This is an amazing opportunity for her, but it's also very expensive. I'm raising money to help cover the cost of the trip, which is $4,800 alone. I have paid the deposit and will put more in when I can again. 

This trip is important to Shae because she been singing since she was a little girl. She took her first stage at three years old and sang Alicia Keys Girl On Fire at a Boys and Girls Club talent show. She has a beautiful soprano voice and she's passionate about music. recently, she went to music camp and wrote an original song with music and performed it in front of a crowd. This trip would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Shae to experience Italian culture and history, and to sing in some of the most famous churches and landmarks in history. She will explore Venice, Tuscany, Rome, and the Vatican City. She would get to sing at St. Peter's Basilica, one of the most iconic churches in the world. This would be an incredible experience for her and it would be a dream come true. It will truly change her life.

The money raised will go directly to the school or travel organization in charge of receiving payments. It will used to cover the cost of the trip, including airfare, accommodation, included food, transportation, and entrance fees to all scheduled events. Any additional funds will be used to help Shae with other required expenses, such as her legal requirements, travel insurance, any meals not included, luggage and baggage costs, and then souvenirs and gifts if able.
