Hi! My name is Haley!
Early April of this year, my husband, Shae (or Keegan as some people know him), found a lump on his testicle. Well, after a handful of doctor visits and a minor surgery, the results came back to be testicular cancer. Not necessarily the news we were hoping to hear.
Yes, cancer is cancer, but we feel incredibly fortunate because thankfully the cancer was caught early, and in the end Shae will be okay! We have managed to stay positive throughout this journey. We never thought we’d be going through this (let alone at 30), but It's been a wakeup call, reminding us of the importance of the things in life that matter.
Over his life, Shae has been blessed with good health and a bit of luck, which is why he never felt the need for health insurance… until now. Facing this diagnosis made us realize the importance of having support, both emotionally and financially; and It’s hard to ask for help, but realistically, we do need help.
The money that we raise will help us cover the expenses of Shae’s cancer treatment, medical bills, procedures, and ongoing care. As you can imagine, the costs can be overwhelming, and any support you can provide would mean the world to us! Whether it’s a donation, loving words, good vibes, or prayer; anything will make a difference in our journey towards Shae’s recovery.
