Our family is asking for prayers and support for my beautiful niece, Shady, who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma cancer. This devastating diagnosis came suddenly, and the cancer has been progressing very quickly. Shady is currently in the hospital fighting for her life. By her side every single day is her loving and devoted husband. He has not left her side and continues to support and care for her through this heartbreaking time. Because of Shady’s illness, both of them are currently unable to work. Her husband is partially blind and unable to drive, so he must rely on Lyft and Uber transportation to travel back and forth between their home, the hospital, and medical appointments so he can remain by her side. As you can imagine, the financial burden has become overwhelming while they focus on what matters most — Shay’s fight against cancer. We are asking for help to cover essential living expenses such as rent, gas and electric utilities, transportation to and from the hospital and medical appointments, and daily living expenses during this difficult time.
