Hi friends and family!

My name is Shadow, and I’m a 7-year-old golden retriever. Running at the park is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world. My parents trained me to walk off-leash, so I get to run around the park as I please, chase squirrels, and run away from weird looking birds.

Last weekend, we went to the park and I think I got too excited because I tore my ACL in my back right leg. Since then, I’ve been hopping around on three legs and I haven’t been on any walks. I saw two nice guys in white coats, and they both said I need something called surgery to fix this. Sounds fancy, but it’s also really expensive.

That’s why I’m here hoping my friends and family can help my parents cover the cost so I can get back to doing what I love most. Even a small donation helps a ton, and if you think about it in dog math, even half of a treat is still a treat! And if you can’t donate, sharing my story means just as much.
