Shadow, a one-year-old puppy, was found abandoned on David and Leigh Ann's property with a broken right tibia and fibula. He also needs to be neutered. Despite his injuries, Shadow’s gentle spirit shines through—he loves people, is wonderful with kids, and has quickly captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Sadly, he didn’t have a microchip, and after searching for an owner, it became clear that Shadow had been left behind and needed urgent help.

David and Leigh Ann have stepped up to care for Shadow, even though they cannot keep him long-term. Local animal rescues are full, but they are determined to give Shadow the best chance at a happy, healthy life. They are working with veterinarians to get him the surgery and care he needs, and are actively searching for a loving foster, adopter, or rescue group who can give Shadow his forever home.
