I am raising funds for my dear friend Shadi, he has asked me to prepare this GFM Campaign for him -- this is his message

"Hello everyone. My name is Shadi Al-Abeed, and I live in Gaza. My family and I have been going through exceptionally difficult circumstances recently. I lost my job due to the war, which has significantly impacted our ability to meet our basic needs.

Before these circumstances, I worked as a paid driver and took care of my family. I had always strived to be self-sufficient and provide a decent life for my family. But recent events have left us in an unenviable position. As we became homeless and live in a tent that does not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer, it is a huge burden that we cannot bear alone.

I have a family of 15. I am also married and have one child. There are 7 children in my family who depend on me, and I feel a great responsibility towards them.All I wish for is to have proper food, water, medicine, care for the children and the elderly, a safe place for them, and to return to my former life, where I can earn a living and stand on my feet again.

I'm just asking for a chance. A chance to get through this ordeal, rebuild my life, and provide security for my family. Any help, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives and give us the hope we so desperately need in these times.

I am willing to sacrifice my life to restore stability and security to my family.

I need a bag of flour every week, which costs $400. I need clean water every week, which costs $100. I need food every week, which costs about $500. This is difficult for me because of the insanely high prices. It's gotten to the point where we're eating tree leaves to survive."
