Help Shad Gray and Family Through Cancer Fight
Donativo protegido
Hi All,
I'm here to assist my good friend and fellow pilot Shad Gray raise funds after a devastating medical diagnosis he recently received. While on a layover in LA, Shad suffered a neurological incident and within two days went into surgery to remove a brain tumor from his left frontal lobe. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a stage 4 glioblastoma. Shad is currently a A320 LGA based FO. He has been with American Airlines since 2021 after flowing through from Envoy. Before his career at Envoy and American Airlines, Shad served 39 years in the military with 33 of those years as a LC-130 Flight Engineer in the New York Air National Guard. Shad had two 3 month tours of duty at Bagram Field, one in 2007 and one in 2009. He has a wife Nicole, a cancer survivor herself, and a nine year old daughter. Shad faces an uncertain future as he and his family explore options with the major cancer clinics across the country. It involves travel and expenses both foreseen and unforeseen. The battle will be tough and the journey long, but a key to its success is peace of mind that Shad's family will be taken care of financially and the burden of money concerns don't become a distraction from the fight ahead. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!
