Hello everyone,

I am a PhD student currently studying in the United States, and I am going through a very difficult medical and financial situation.

Over the past several months, I have been dealing with health problems that have required surgery, multiple hospital procedures, follow-up care, and ongoing diagnostic testing. Fortunately, my insurance has covered some of the medical expenses. However, due to the limitations of student insurance plans, some costs have only been partially covered, and certain procedures have not been covered at all.

As a part-time student worker, my income was already very limited. Since then, I have been trying to manage medical bills, medications, utility balances, and basic living expenses while continuing my studies and dealing with an uncertain recovery.

This journey has been physically exhausting, emotionally overwhelming, and financially devastating. I do not have family here or anyone who can support me financially, which has made this situation even harder. All necessary documents and medical bills have been uploaded for transparency.

Since December, I have had several additional procedures, including procedures on December 17, January 14, February 4, and February 25. Most recently, on March 25, I went to CARTI Cancer Center and completed an important part of the diagnostic process. I am now waiting for the test results and hoping for clear and positive news.
