Hello Everyone,
During these hard times we are reaching out for help, One of our brothers has fallen in to some hardship. SGT Jamal Brown a decorated US Army Veteran with accommodations including Ranger Tab, CIB (Combat Infantry Badge) and many more; has succumbed to a medical Emergency. SGT Brown attempted to take his life last week but thankfully was saved by Doctors and Nurses.
SGT Brown is known for being one of the most hard working and caring leaders many have gotten to know. SGT Brown was assigned to 3-7IN prior to ETS from the US Army, and his 3-7IN family is by his side during his road to recovery.
Although he has our support he does need support from others who are willing. Sgt brown is currently receiving medical and behavioral health treatment in Colorado.
Following SGT Brown's release from the hospital it is pertinent that he has support and means to make it to South Carolina to stay with friends and family.
Suicide is a very gray area for veterans, many suffer from PTSD and are not seeking treatment hopefully with this many can realize how serious the matter is.
Every single day, 22 veterans take their own lives. That’s 22 suicides a day, a suicide every 65 minutes. As shocking as that number is, the real number may actually be higher.
