Help SF Chickenbox Upgrade & Open Latenight

We have been so fortunate to have made it this far as a small business in San Francisco. Luckily we have an amazing Team, loyal Customers and a very supportive Community! We have dreams of serving SF even better, but we really need some help right now. In order for us to survive, we need to upgrade our space ASAP to be able to stay much open later. Adding a Security Gate, a Safe Ordering Window, New Door, and other Kitchen & Security Needs will help us get back on solid ground. Once we are able to open latenight, our business will nearly double .

SF Chickenbox opened in 2019 as a Pop-Up window in a Sports Bar in SOMA. Nobody could've predicted what these next few years would be like. Besides the normal risks and high costs of the Restaurant Business, Covid brought a whole new wave of challenges. We relocated to a different Bar on Valencia Street in 2020, which kept us afloat. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end this spring due to issues between the Bar & the Landlord. We had no choice but to close down in May 2021. Thankfully we found our current space in North Beach, and were able to re-open at the end of August. This location has always been a dream for us, with the goal being to open 7 days a week and to open late-night! San Francisco needs it! And so do we.

The 3 Months of lost business, many repairs, permits, upgrades, and waiting in limbo to re-open the business depleted our SBA Loan, and extra funds. With Covid still a serious reality & real street safety Issues, the only way for us to safely stay open later is to do a major upgrade to the front of our Shop. We want to install a 2nd cashier area, a secure ordering window, extra lighting, signage, a steel gate, and add some extra staffing. We need to make these upgrades as soon as possible, but we cannot do it without some help. We want to raise $35,000 to cover the costs of the construction, new equipment & to add additional Staff to get us through the next couple months. Every bit of help is appreciated by all of us here at SF Chickenbox.

We love The City & the People in it, and we want to be around for a long time to serve you all. Getting over this hurdle so we can open later will help make that a reality.
