Seymour is a playful dog who loves nothing more than chasing after a ball with his sister Tetra at Morley Field in San Diego. Their friendly competition brings so much joy to our family, but recently, Seymour tore his ACL in his left stifle joint during one of their games. Despite wearing a brace and resting for three weeks, his knee hasn't improved. After several visits to the vet at B Street in San Diego, the orthopedic surgeon recommended surgery to help Seymour get back on his feet.

The funds raised here will go directly to covering Seymour's surgery costs. If we aren't able to meet the full amount needed for the procedure, every dollar will still help us consult with the vet about physical therapy as an alternative. Our goal is to give Seymour the best chance at a full recovery so he can return to the park and play with Tetra again.

Having a pet you care for unable to do what they love is heartbreaking. Using this platform is an experience in community, caregiving, and humility.
