Help Seyla Manzo's Family Recover After Restaurant Closure

Hi guys! If you don’t know me, my name is Seyla Manzo. My parents owned Cafe GSC (formerly Cafe Gratitude Santa Cruz), but unfortunately, a year ago, we had to close our doors. It was heartbreaking and since then has left us in a financial mess. We are struggling to afford rent, food, and other household bills. Both my dad and I have full time jobs but they aren’t making enough, and my dad has been out of work due to a back injury that has kept him from being able to work for the last two weeks. I’m helping out as I can but have my own payments to make. My mom is currently starting her healing business, which is bringing in a little money but still not enough. We are doing everything we can to keep us afloat, but it has been a difficult year. I’m hoping to raise some money to help alleviate the stress of bills and rent while we figure out how to get on our feet again.

If you ever came to Cafe G and met me or my parents, you know how kind and caring they are. They loved serving the city of Santa Cruz and seeing all the people that came through our doors. They want nothing but the best for my siblings and me, and I’m doing what I can to help.
