My name is Seykia. My boyfriend Damond and I are reaching out to ask for support on our new journey.

We are currently living with Damond's family, but unfortunately, the landlord has decided not to renew the lease. The lease officially ends on May 31, 2025 and we have to find an apartment to move into that is just for the two of us.

We have been searching for an apartment for the last few weeks and we finally found one that accepted us. In order to secure the apartment to move-in on May 15th, we need to submit our move-in fees by May 10th. However, the upfront costs of moving—first month’s rent, key fee, and security deposit—are beyond our means to come up with in such a short period of time. We’re aiming to raise $2,000 to cover these essential move-in expenses.

We’re doing everything we can to make this transition smoothly and responsibly, but we need some support to make it all happen in time.
