Sevyn is my five-year-old dachshund with a personality that fills our home with laughter. She’s always been the quirkiest and funniest member of the family, and her excitement for walks is unmatched. Recently, Sevyn’s enthusiasm got the best of her—she tried to crawl over a baby gate in her eagerness to go outside, but fell and landed on her back. The accident caused a slipped disc, and since then, Sevyn has lost the use of her back legs and is in constant pain.

After an urgent visit to our local vet in Hibbing, we were referred to the Veterinary Medical Center North at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul. The specialists there have recommended immediate back surgery to give Sevyn the best chance at regaining mobility and living pain-free. The funds raised will go directly toward Sevyn’s surgery, as well as travel expenses, overnight stays in Minneapolis, and the ongoing care and rehabilitation she’ll need during her recovery.

Sevyn means the world to me, and I want to do everything possible to help her heal and get back to her happy, playful self. Any support will make a real difference for Sevyn and help us through this challenging time.
