My mother recently passed away unexpectedly, and my family is now facing a difficult and overwhelming situation. She owned her home outright, but at the time of her passing, there were individuals living in the home who are now refusing to leave. In order to legally remove them and protect my mother’s property, we must go through formal probate and the court eviction process. Unfortunately, probate and eviction in Florida require attorney fees, court costs, and filing expenses that we were not financially prepared for. My brother and I are working together to do everything properly and legally.

We are not looking for sympathy — just support to help us cover probate attorney fees, court filing costs, eviction expenses, sheriff service fees, and securing and repairing the home once it is vacant. This home was my mother’s only major asset, and we are trying to preserve it and settle her affairs responsibly.
