Hello! I want to start this out by celebrating a little bit: after keeping focused and working hard to get here, I’ve been accepted to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art to earn my Masters of Arts in Classical Acting!
Through LAMDA, I’ll be continuing my education in classical theatre focusing on Shakespeare, Elizabethan, and Jacobean plays. With your help, I’ll be able to cover the tuition fees plus my living costs to be in London.
As an actor, I have always sought out new works, inventive retellings of classic works, and pieces that create space for the LGBTQIA+ community. In these creative corners, I have always found hope and promise in the creative communities effort to represent all people and ensure that audiences see their own stories on stage.
My hope, is that through continuing my education at LAMDA, I will add to my toolbox an ability to analyze classical text and work with a community of artists hoping to carry classical theatre into the 21st Century.
The queer community celebrates the love a chosen family can give you, I look forward to adding the faculty and students of LAMDA into my chosen family. Because of you, I can make this a reality. Thank you in advance for your contribution!
