Help Seth McIlhinney's Funeral & Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On January 14th, 2025 my cousin Seth McIlhinney tragically passed away from an unforeseen blood clot in his lungs. Seth was only 35 years young. My name is Jacklyn, and Seth was not only my family but also a dear friend, and the big brother I always wanted. Seth is one of the kindest and most selfless people I’ve ever known. It is difficult to put such a devastating loss like this into words.. a tragedy that has left many heartbroken forever.
I wanted to create to this fundraiser to help cover the funeral costs, ambulance and the emergency hospital expenses on the night of his passing - 100% of all proceeds will go directly to his parents Tom and Cindy McIlhinney.
Seth was a beautiful soul. He brought peace and love to all and wanted all in his life to know that he loved and appreciated them. Seth had a deep love for and belief in Jesus Christ. He excelled in his Real Estate career, athletics, and hobbies, which included fishing, playing pool, running and music. He was the lead singer of the "All the Best Band", who played at many area venues.
Seth has been a staple in the Doylestown Community, a kind loving individual who truly adds to everyone’s lives. You could catch him singing at Villa Capri open mic nights among other events, encouraging others to sing and filling the space with his beautiful voice. He always saw the saw the light and potential in others and was a constant positive support - reminding us to not fear judgment but to follow our passions and to be our true selves. May his life and legacy live on through acts of love, consideration, selflessness and song.
In addition to his parents, Thomas and Cindy McIlhinney; Seth is survived by his sister; Alexis Harrell and his nephew, Asher Harrell. To reach the full obituary click here.
Villa Capri Restaurant in Doylestown will be hosting a memorial this weekend in honor of Seth - "Seth Fest" 3-7 PM Sunday February 2nd.

Seth trusted in God and believed his plan with deep hope and dedication. He reminds of this Bible verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight” Proverbs 3:5-6
